Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a good many players end up on the losing end when given these cards.
When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out pre-flop. You’re positioned with the best achievable hand at this part of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I would say no to that.
Always remember, you are trying to earn as much profit out of this strong position. You want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most competitors into dropping out and not placing a wager.
If you’re in the starting seat (1st or 2nd to place a bet), you will make a single bet. Anybody with decent cards will call, with hope somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your strategy will be to get rid of anybody that could be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you’ll trick one player into thinking that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the middle or late position (one of the last to cast a bet) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players drop out after the flop. If you don’t abolish your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
