Internet poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your initial bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
