Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in an excellent game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, not like most other poker games that players bet against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their moolla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game pace, beginners are able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick choices.
It’s also much simpler to enjoy for an extended time with basically a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands has to be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
