Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a great game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more skillful people winning their money.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, novices can take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied selections.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with basically a little bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
