Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure equal to the initial wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out chips even with your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
