Poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure in accordance with the initial bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pony’s up cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
