Online poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays money even with your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
