Online poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount equal to the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays money even with your bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
