Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, unlike most other poker games that players bet with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to be concerned about any other, more advanced people winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make frenzied choices.
It’s also easier to play for a very long time with just a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
